Airline secrets

Love to fly? Who doesn't? Sure, I enjoy long car drives as well, but there are some times when flying is just far more practical.

These days, airlines are cramming more and more people in to each airline. Used to be, back in the day, that planes would leave the terminal half empty. Fuel was cheap. Airlines didn't seem to mind too much that their plane was taking off half empty, so off the planes would go, with the seats half empty.

Dealing with banks and bank fees

We've all gotten them. Those hateful letters in the mail informing of us that we've sinfully allowed our checking account to momentarily drop below $0 into the forbidden negative zone. Usually, by the time the letter has arrived in the mail, if we haven't caught the mistake ourselves, three or four MORE subsequent debits have hit the already-negative account, resulting in compounded fees, innocuously called NSF's, or non-sufficient funds fees.

A little about me...

I am a normal person, probably not unlike yourself. I work hard at what I do, and I enjoy the simple things life has to offer. Life, however, isn't getting much simpler, is it?

Park too close to a fire hydrant, and you'll get a ticket. Overdraw your bank account by as little as a penny, and most banks will slap you with a nasty little NSF fee of at least $25.
